A Comprehensive Guide to the Best Hotels in Cherry Hill, Mount Laurel, NJ and South Jersey (updated for 2026)
Are you looking for a great place to stay in Cherry Hill, New Jersey? Several excellent, budget-friendly hotels in Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel offer easy access to just about everything in the region. I personally live in a nearby neighborhood and have had friends and relatives stay at most of these hotels. I’ve also been inside the hotels and restaurants, and I have seen a few of the rooms.
The following hotels are all located in Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel, New Jersey. They are very close to many restaurants and shopping centers (including the Cherry Hill Mall, Moorestown Mall and East Gate Center, as well as the Walmart Superstore on Route 73 (it sells clothing, groceries and more – it also has a pharmacy inside with excellent customer service). You’ll notice “some” of these hotels include the name “Philadelphia” in the title. These hotels are not in Philadelphia. It’s just a way for the hotel companies to show that these properties are close by.

The Best Hotels in South Jersey (Cherry Hill and more!)
Most of this area’s hotels are in a prime location along Route 70 or nearby Route 73, and very close to the Interstate entrance for 295 (north and south); and the New Jersey Turnpike. These hotels are also very close to Philadelphia (about an easy 20 – 30 minute drive). Other nearby towns include Marlton, Voorhees, Haddonfield, and Moorestown.
This list includes a variety of hotels that cater to different tastes and preferences. Aloft Hotel is a modern and stylish hotel in the heart of South Jersey and close to just about everything. It’s a big, full service property that hosts many events and weddings, so it’s definitely a lively place to stay!

Smell those delicious chocolate chip cookies! (That’s exactly the aroma that greets you when you walk in the door to this lovely hotel!!) DoubleTree by Hilton is a contemporary hotel that caters to both business and leisure travelers. The hotel offers spacious rooms with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, work desks, and complimentary Wi-Fi. This hotel is one of the few in the area that features suite-style rooms with a separate bedroom and a door between that and the living area. It’s a great option for anyone traveling with children or those seeking some extra privacy. I’ve personally had family members stay here from out-of-town on several occasions and they enjoyed it.
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel in Mount Laurel
The Doubletree Suites by Hilton hotel offers free parking in their open-air parking lot. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, fitness center, and adjacent gardens in the warmer months. There’s an on-site restaurant, Redz, which serves a variety of casual American dishes and a lobby bar that serves up fresh cocktails.

The Holiday Inn in Cherry Hill is a top choice for travelers in South Jersey. Located on Route 70, this hotel offers guests spacious and stylish rooms, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including flat-screen smart TVs and mini in-room refrigerators.
